Credentials
I am a qualified Allergy Therapist registered with the British Institute for Allergy and Environmental Therapy where I trained in 1997. The BInstAT is one of the leading allergy organisations in the country, founded in 1987 by Donald M. Harrison, a medically qualified pharmacist. The institute promotes a holistic and uniquely effective approach to allergy diagnosis and treatment.
Testing using Diagnostic Kinesiology is painless, accurate, and very versatile enabling the diagnosis of all types of allergy as well as underlying problems which predispose to allergy.
Treatments (when called for) are Homeopathic and/or Nutritional. These include Homeopathic Desensitisation which is not only safe but highly cost-effective. The remedies are inexpensive and work with a high rate of success (95%+ with environmental allergens such as house dust might, pollens and grasses; and 80%+ with staple foods like wheat and dairy, higher with other foods).
I am also a qualified and registered Homeopath with 18 years experience and a track record of continuing professional development. This means I bring a great deal of general practice experience to allergy and toxicity issues. If I find your symptoms are not allergy related I can usually diagnose the primary causes and prescribe or recommend treatments and solutions appropriately.
As well as the BInstAT, I am registered with:
The Alliance of Registered Homeopaths (ARH)
The British Complementary Medicine Association (BCMA)
The Kinesiology Federation (affiliated)
Relevant Continuing Professional Development:
1998 - Nutritional Assessment (Academy of Systematic Kinesiology)
1999 - Functional Biochemistry and Nutritional Medicine (Metabolics)
2001 - Clinical Kinesiology - nutritional medicine and complex homeopathy (Richard Holding)
2004 - FirstLine Therapy - body composition programme for healthy weight loss (Nutri)
